Jubilee Primary School has a Religious Education Program which is responsive to the needs and religious backgrounds of its students. It also reflects the contemporary contexts for learning in Religious Education.

- Teachers are aware of the demographics of the religious backgrounds of their students. They regularly use the BI tool to update information about their students.
- The Vision for Religious Education is reflected in teachers programs
- Jubilee is a school which promotes an innovative Religious Education Program. Our School has a Vision for Teaching and Learning, which is used to plan and program in Religious Education.
- Teachers reflect on their learners and ensure that the context of their class is reflected in the planning of their units. The context of their class is articulated in the context table in Unit documentation.
- Religious Education at Jubilee seeks to engage students in the critical, creative and responsible use of digital tools which is an important component of digital citizenship. At Jubilee we have a one-to-one laptop program. It includes provision and use of technology in the Religious Education Program. Digital Tools that are used at Jubilee include:

- A Year Level Plan that reflects not only the needs of the learners but also the system wide expectations. This scope and continuum document is reviewed and modified on a yearly basis.
- Teachers are timetabled to regularly engage in planning with the APRE or SIT team members.
- Teachers communicate to parents what is happening in Religious Education at Jubilee through Term Overviews which are uploaded on to the school Parent Portal each Term.
- A link to the School Weebly page is also placed on the Parent Portal.
- Teachers communicate to parents what is happening in class through blogs and twitter, Year 3
- As part of our commitment to DELT, we ensure that all teachers plan their units of work using Learning Intentions and Success Criteria.
- All Units of Work are saved on the school portal with evaluations to assist teachers in coming years with their planning.
- Teachers reflect on the Unit as a team and complete a Program Checklist

- Teachers ensuring that the class context in planning documents represent the demographics of the students in their class.
- Teachers regularly evaluate each Unit of Work and utilise this feedback to change teaching strategies to ensure that students are being catered for.
- Units of work showcase a variety of activities that allow for differentiation of both process and product.
- High expectations for student learning is evident in the Planning Template that is used by teachers.
- Teachers evaluate Units of Work using the "Two Stars and a Wish" format.
